Inspiration
“Color can change our perception of the space around us, turning it cool and energetic, spacious or cozy.”
Looking for some color inspiration for your house or room?
We’ve including some helpful links below for color selecting tools from the two paint companies we recommend, along with additional sources of inspiration you can find online to help in your decision.
Sherwin Williams
The Sherwin Williams website has a page of color selecting tools for you to experiment with, including apps and websites that help you identify colors and virtually paint rooms.
You can also check out their Sherwin Williams’ inspiration section for both interior rooms and exterior color combinations.
Benjamin Moore
Benjamin Moore has a section on their site for color trends of the year and color of the year (for 2018 it’s Caliente AF-290—a strong, radiant red).
They also have an entire color exploration section where you can see photos, and find other helpful tools.
Online Inspiration
Other online resources include sites like Houzz and Pinterest where you can see and collect photos, and other inspiration.

Samples
Still not sure about which color to use, or think you know what you want? We recommend going to the paint store to look at colors and types of paint. You may decide to pick up some sample sized containers to try out, and we definitely recommend picking up paint chips to take home and view in the room with different lighting and with your furniture, or outside with your landscaping. Colors online can look different than in person!
When we come out to do an estimate, we’ll be happy to talk with you about colors and paints.
